NovelID is designed with your privacy in mind. We collect minimal data to provide you with the best reading experience.

• Favorite novels list
• App settings and preferences

• Device type and operating system version
• App crash reports and performance data
• General usage statistics (anonymized)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the app functionality
• Save your reading progress and preferences
• Improve app performance and user experience
• Fix bugs and technical issues
• Analyze usage patterns (anonymized data only)

3. Data Storage & Security

Your personal data is stored exclusively on your device using secure local storage mechanisms (SharedPreferences and Hive database). We do NOT:

• Upload your personal data to external servers
• Share your reading history with third parties
• Track your location
• Access your contacts, photos, or files

The only network requests made are to fetch novel content from publicly available third-party sources.

The app may use the following third-party services:

• Google Play Services — for app distribution and updates
• Google Play Billing — for processing in-app purchases

• Third-party websites — for fetching novel content

5. Third-Party Content

NovelID acts solely as an aggregator and reader interface. All novel content displayed within the app is sourced from publicly available third-party websites. NovelID does NOT own, create, host, or store any novel content.

All rights to the novels and their content belong entirely to their respective original authors, publishers, and/or licensors. If you are a rights holder and believe any content infringes your intellectual property, please contact us at novelindonesia0@gmail.com for prompt removal.

6. Advertising

The free version of NovelID may display advertisements provided by third-party ad networks. These networks may collect anonymized data to serve relevant ads. Upgrading to PRO removes all advertisements.

You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

NovelID is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access — View all data stored within the app
• Deletion — Clear all data via Settings → Clear All Data
• Portability — Your data is stored locally and can be backed up with your device
• Opt-out — Disable notifications and personalized ads

Since all data is stored locally, you have full control over your information at all times.

9. Data Retention

Your data is retained on your device for as long as the app is installed. When you uninstall the app or use the "Clear All Data" feature, all local data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected within the app and on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
